WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

Any returns that are not made due of defective merchandise, or returns that are made because of any other issues not connected to any fault on our part (i.e., buyer’s remorse, wrong size, don’t like the color, etc..) are considered as returns made solely on the customers discretion. Returns of this type must be done within 7 days of receipt, and will be subject to a restocking fee of 8%, which is done to help cover processing fees, handling charges, and any other costs that are associated with processing the return. This restocking fee will be deducted from the refund that will be promptly given to the customer. Please make sure that you have checked with the sizing charts that we have provided on every product page to make sure that you are ordering the best posible size. TYPICALLY, ORDERS TAKE APPROXIMATELY 2-6 DAYS TO ARRIVE DEPENDING ON CURRENT ORDER PROCESSING VOLUMES, AND A FEW OTHER VARYING FACTORS.

WHEN WILL I BE CHARGED FOR MY ORDER?

At the time of purchase, you may already see a pre-authorization charge that is visible online in your account via your financial institutions website. However, you will not be officially charged by us until your order is personally processed by us.

WHEN WILL HELLO FISH LIFE™ PROCESS MY ORDER?

Hello Fish Life™ typically processes orders within the first 24-72 hours after they are received on our website, https://www.hellofishlife.com, with most order processing taking place within the first 24 hours that they are placed. Though, there are certain factors that may affect order processing times. Yes! Absolutely! We currently offer College/University Students a 5% off discount on their orders! To sign up for our Student Discount, you can, for the time being, click on the Students portion of our main menu.

ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS WITH MY STUDENT DISCOUNT?

Your discount is usable every day on our website, with only a few restrictions. You may not use your Student Discount in combination with any other sales, discounts, or coupon codes.

DO I NEED TO GO TO A CERTAIN SCHOOL TO QUALIFY FOR A STUDENT DISCOUNT?

You must be a full-time student currently attending an accredited college or university in the United States of America.

I AM TAKING SOME CLASSES (ONLINE OR OTHERWISE) FOR A CERTIFICATE. DO I QUALIFY FOR A STUDENT DISCOUNT EVEN THOUGH I AM NOT A FULL-TIME STUDENT?

Unfortunately, you do not qualify for a Student Discount. You must be a full-time student who is attending an accredited college or university to qualify for our Student Discount.

WHAT DO I NEED TO PROVIDE AS PROOF TO GET VERIFIED AS A STUDENT?

Our system is currently set up to verify by College ID cards. You can securely upload a picture of your School ID by using our verification form. Please Note that we only accept .JPEG, .JPG files at this time. If you have any issues with this limitation, please contact us.
We understand, however, that some smaller schools do not provide picture ID cards to their students. If your school does not provide ID cards, then please contact us about that issue. We will let you know what other credentials that we may alternately accept.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR YOU TO VERIFY MY INFORMATION FOR MY STUDENT DISCOUNT?

The official answer is, that we will process your submission, and you should receive a response about verification within 24-72 hours. However, verification replies will typically take place within the first 24 hours, often times within the first hour after the form is submitted to us. *Of course, please take into consideration any holidays or weekends at the time of your submission.

HOW WILL I KNOW THAT I AM APPROVED FOR MY HELLO FISH LIFE™ STUDENT DISCOUNT?

Once your info is verified, We will send you an email informing you that you were verified. *Please watch out for this email, because it will contain one more very important step!*

WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF MY INFORMATION WAS NOT ABLE TO BE VERIFIED?

If for some reason you are not approved, you will be informed at that time as to why the approval could not take place, and you will be given further instructions if necessary.

WHY CAN'T I USE MY STUDENT DISCOUNT IN COMBINATION WITH OTHER COUPONS OR DISCOUNTS?

This was not just a business decision, but also a limitation of our website's infrastructure. Our checkout does not allow more than one discount at a time. This is why we can only allow the application of one discount at a time. What many people do, is if they have the Student discount, which is 5% off, and they also have a coupon code for a discount of 10% off, most decide to just use the highest percentage discount on their order - And that is just fine with us :) Please feel free to use the best discount you can find for your purchases with us. We just have made it where students have the discount benefit every day of the year, and even when we aren't running a promotion.
